Our role in the leasing process
Blue Castle Property Management provides leasing services on behalf of property owners. We assist with marketing, showings, applications, screening, and lease coordination.
Once a tenant moves in, ongoing management, rent collection, and maintenance are handled directly by the property owner unless otherwise stated in the lease.
Applying for a rental
Before you apply
- Review listing details carefully
- Confirm rent amount and lease terms
- Verify move in date availability
- Ensure you meet basic qualification criteria
Application and screening
- Completed rental application for all adults
- Credit and background screening
- Income and employment verification
- Rental history review when available
Approval and lease signing
Once an application is approved, we coordinate lease signing and move in instructions with the tenant and the property owner.
- Lease terms and responsibilities outlined in writing
- Security deposit and initial rent requirements
- Move in date and possession details
After move in
After move in, tenants work directly with the property owner for all ongoing matters.
- Rent payments are made according to the lease
- Maintenance requests are submitted to the owner
- Lease renewals and notices are handled by the owner
